To mark the 100th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Verghese Kurien (The Milkman of India who made India the World’s no. 1 milk producer), National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) organised different events such as Poetry, Quiz, Poster Making and Essay Competition. A lot of Employees of Baani Milk Producer Company Limited participated in the events to celebrate the Birth Centenary of Dr Verghese Kurien, organised by NDDB with fervour.

Since the competition was exclusively between employees of Milk Unions/Federations/Milk Producer Companies/ NDDB’s subsidiaries and Sister Institutions, the competition was very tough.

Winning against the odds, three of the staff members outperformed in four different events.

Ms. Mandeep Kaur, won Third prize in the Essay Competition – English and a consolation prize in Essay Competition – Hindi

Mr. Gurpreet Singh Grewal, won Third prize winner of the Poetry Competition – Hindi.

Mr. Navdeep Kumar, won a consolation prize in Essay Competition – English.
